Weaving Connections is a relational art project that attempts to heal the rift that has formed in the relationship between my mother and I following my coming out. Reconciliation requires mutual effort, so my project is to make paper from our clothes and include my mother in every step of the process, so that the time we spend together allows us to establish a dialogue.
