During my mother's twin pregnancy, my sister and I shared a placenta. Hence, science predicted that we would be identical twins. The surprise was that we were day and night. Our parents were approached by The Quebec Study of Newborn Twins (QSNT) to ask for our participation. Until we reached majority, Crystel and I did a lot of studies and filled out countless forms. A recent reading of a psychiatric report led me to recall our childhood and our many visits to the hospital, to the point where I wanted to work with my sister on this project. Guided by the parameters we have established, Crystel and I move forward blindly. This work thus activates the fundamental issues of my artistic approach, on the grounds that we find in it the symbiosis of method and letting go.
